Latino Task Force Summer Hub Program
Enrichment Teacher Position

$25-$27 Hourly/Full-Time (depending on experience)

8 weeks; non-benefited position

Attendance Expectations
Summer Training Dates: June 4, 2026 -June 9, 2026 (including Saturday, June 6 - 9am-5pm)
Summer Program Dates: June 10, 2026 - August 5, 2026


Program expectations:

  • Must be able to participate in all activities including water supervision (in pools or water parks) and fitness programming

  • No cell phone while responsible for the supervision of students

  • Field trip dates require extended hours so schedules will be changed to accommodate a 9:30am-7:00pm schedule


Overview / Description

Under the direction of the LTF Education Manager, the Summer Lead Teacher is
responsible for a classroom of 15-20 children. The role of the Enrichment Teacher is to
facilitate enrichment activities ranging from recreation, arts, safety, and engagement of
the students in the Latino Task Force Summer Hub Program.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for classroom lesson planning, curriculum development, delivery of instruction, and classroom management of 15-20 students

  • Supervise and assign classroom interns program tasks and develop a student supervision plan

  • Facilitate and supervise educational, enrichment, and recreational programming over the 8-week summer program (8 hrs a day/5 days a week), including Fridays all day field trips (9am-6pm)

  • Coordinate culturally relevant student activities designed to address program goals

  • Develop meaningful relationships with students and their families

  • Facilitate and supervise students during field trips and other off-site enrichment activities

  • Ensure the safety of all students in the program

  • Provide families daily/weekly updates on their children, including behavior, educational progress, engagement, safety, etc.

  • Keep accurate and consistent records of required program data

  • Track attendance at activities

  • Provide restorative practices if needed with program lead

  • Develop a point store or student incentive program specific to your classroom

  • Represent LTF at assigned community events, meetings, and other relevant opportunities to promote LTF Education Programs

  • Participate in training and meetings as required (one meeting per week will be paid overtime for teacher leads)

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to join in all activities with students, including but not limited to,
    participating in water activities and fitness activities, and monitoring snacks and
    meals

  • 2 years of experience working with public school students and families

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in education, youth development or related field

  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills and be able to work in a collaborative team environment

  • Must pass criminal background check and TB test clearance

  • Must be available to work the entire 8 weeks of the summer program

  • Fluent in Spanish

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • College enrollment highly desirable

LTF Housing Specialist

JOB LOCATION: This is a mobile position requiring travel to several locations throughout San Francisco- Mission, Bayview,  Excelsior- rotating across all LTF Resource Hubs. 

LOCATION: San Francisco Area 

SALARY/ RATE: non-exempt, hourly position for up to 40 hours per week set firm at $28/hour.

REPORTS TO: LTF Housing Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Housing Specialist is a mission-driven, organized, and analytical professional responsible for assisting individuals and families in securing and maintaining stable housing. In this key role, the Housing Specialist serves as a resource and advocate for low-income residents in need of rental assistance, rent negotiation, eviction prevention, and new housing opportunities. Responsibilities include determining program eligibility, certifying assistance in accordance with established policies and procedures, and providing case management support. The position also involves building and sustaining relationships with families and community partners, fulfilling administrative duties, and collaborating closely with the Latino Task Force Resource Hub staff as part of the Housing Unit team.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Support with barrier removals

  • Strategic planning to identify resources for specific services.

  • Conduct phone banking and maintain regular contact with clients and partner organizations

  • Serve low income families: find housing opportunities, support with Housing related concerns.

  • Adhere to professional ethical standards; maintain confidentiality of clients' personal information.

  • Build, sustain effective community relationships and partnerships for ongoing referrals and client support

  • Short term, direct services to 5-8 individual caseloads across 3 San Francisco based Latino Task Force Resource hubs.

  • Assess clients for eligibility qualifications and required documentation for a variety of Housing programs

  • Research, maintain up-to-date knowledge of local housing resources, affordable housing options, rental assistance programs, and other relevant services available in the community.

  • Accurate data Tracking and Reporting- Comply with all data reporting requirements as set by the organization.

  • Advocate on behalf of clients to address housing-related challenges, and navigate complex housing systems.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual: Spanish, English

  • Ability to effectively multitask

  • Background in Case Management related work

  • Computer and Technology Proficiency- PCs, Google Workspace

  • Valid driver's license; registered and insured vehicle preferred.

  • Knowledge of Housing Resources- local housing resources, programs, policies

  • Experience in a department or program serving housing needs is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with housing databases, online resources, and other communication tools.

  • Expectation of schedule flexibility; some weekends, evenings, schedule arrangements

  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, some college experience preferred

  • Sustain clients’ confidentiality and HIPAA requirements; keep accurate records, files and correspondence.
