We are...
The San Francisco Latino Task Force (LTF) was born out of necessity and built on the power of community. Initially formed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have grown into a permanent coalition dedicated to advancing equity, health, and economic opportunity for Latino, Black, Pacific Islander, and other historically underserved communities in San Francisco. Through deep collaboration with community-based organizations, city agencies, and grassroots leaders, we ensure that resources and support reach those who need them most.

We continue to...
We are committed to creating a more just and inclusive San Francisco by advocating for policies, programs, and services that empower our communities. Our work spans healthcare access, housing security, workforce development, food distribution, education, and civic engagement—all with the goal of reducing disparities and fostering resilience.
Through a model of collective action, accountability, and community leadership, we build pathways for long-term stability and success. Together, we are shaping a future where all San Franciscans can thrive.

Our work is shaped by the people we serve at every stage.

Community-Driven
Our initiatives are shaped by the voices, needs, and priorities of the community itself. We listen, collaborate, and take action based on grassroots input, ensuring that resources and solutions are responsive, inclusive, and effective. By centering the lived experiences of those we serve, we build sustainable change from the ground up.

Community-Led
Our work is driven by local leaders, grassroots organizations, and residents, ensuring that policies and programs reflect the real needs and priorities of the community. This approach fosters authentic representation, accountability, and sustainable change from within

Community-Implemented
Solutions are designed, led, and executed by the community, for the community. Rather than relying on top-down approaches, we empower local leaders, organizations, and residents to drive initiatives that directly address their needs. This ensures that programs are culturally responsive, equitable, and rooted in lived experiences—leading to lasting, meaningful impact.
